Sponsor Walkaround
Walkaround is read by Aircraft Professionals: technicians, inspectors, maintenance controllers and ground operations staff working on the 15 commercial types the site tracks, plus people training to enter the field. If your business serves them, a sponsorship puts your name in front of them on pages they come back to for the facts.
What a sponsorship looks like
Every sponsored placement is a single line of plain text with a link, labelled "Sponsor", served from this site. There are no images loaded from other servers, no tracking pixels and no cookies. The pages stay as light and as fast as they are today.
- Section sponsor. One line under one manufacturer section on the front page, for example "Boeing fleet brief supported by" your company. One sponsor per section. It does not appear on the aircraft pages themselves, because every one of them carries a safety section.
- Glossary sponsor. One line on the plain language glossary, which is written for people new to the industry. A natural fit for schools, test preparation and training providers.
- Founding sponsor. One line in the footer of the front page and the glossary, for an early backer who commits to a longer term. It is left off aircraft pages and news stories so that it never sits beside safety reporting.
Terms are monthly or quarterly. Rates are agreed directly with each sponsor.
Editorial independence
These rules are not negotiable and apply to every sponsor:
- Sponsors and advertisers have no say in what is covered or how.
- Sponsored placements are always labelled.
- No sponsorship appears on accident, incident or safety reporting.
- A sponsor's own news is covered on the same two source standard as anyone else's, or not at all.
- Requests for coverage in exchange for payment are declined and logged.
Audience numbers
Walkaround does not load analytics scripts. Audience figures will be published here once they have been recorded, each with the date it was taken and exactly what it measures.
