Malaysia Airlines is close to its first 787 order

Bloomberg reported on 18 September that Malaysia Aviation Group is closing in on an order for roughly ten 787-10s, which would be the carrier's first Dreamliners.

The aircraft would replace seven leased A350s the airline has wanted to move away from because of high lease rentals, with room left over for growth. Boeing is said to have won on availability, offering delivery slots from 2031, and GE Aerospace is reported to have beaten Rolls-Royce on engine terms.
